Finally....

Finally i heard what mark i got for my first assignment, and finally typepad is working again so i can actually make a post to tell you all!!!

Well after sending a begging email to one of the top managers in HR and one of the trainers running the course i am taking i managed to get the mark out of them. Well, in the end my mentor gave the mark to me because she begged them to let her tell me!

I got a respectable merit grade. I am pretty pleased with that, since its the first proper studying i have done in 8 or 9 years. It's the grade in between the top in the bottom marks...so its not bad at all to be in the middle with my first assignment. Its also a better grade than i feared i had managed!

The only problem is that i now have to start work on my next assignment. I'm feeling a little more confident about the next one, and also it has to be only half the size of the first one..which worries me...am i missing something?! Having said that, i haven't actually sat down and researched or tried to write the thing yet!

Sorry i haven't been posting much on my blog lately. Its just been some long months lately. Ok, so i know there are no more days in november than most other months, but it just feels like there were!!

I am studying for a qualification for my job, and that recently entailed 2 x 2000 word essays. Actually, to be truthful, they were not essays, they had to be written report form, and that is something totally different..and since i've never had to write reports in this way before it only added to the challenge! I finally got it finished, but am still not happy with it, and think i could have done so much better! My mentor who supports me on this course kept telling my not to panic etc, but i just can't help it, i'm a perfectionist.

Well, i'm currently waiting to hear what my final mark was. I should hopefully hear within the next week, some of my class have already heard, but the agonising wait continues for me!

I now have to start on a second piece of work (but fortunately its only 1 x 2000 this time!). It never lets up!!

So excuse me if i am slightly absent - you know i am busy on my next assignment!
